How does consignment work?
If you are not in a hurry to sell your item, we can help you sell your item for a small fee. Simply submit your pictures to us via our online platforms to receive a quote within 24-48 hours. Once you accept the quote, post it off to us to get paid once your item is sold for you. Refer to our service agreement for more information.

Would you ever change your quote?
We go to great lengths to ensure you have provided us with the right photos and description for us to best assess pricing before you send in your item. On the occasion where the description or the photos does not match what we receive we reserve the right to alter the quote or refuse the item. The cost of the return would be covered by the seller.
Do you authenticate the items I send in?
Yes, we pride ourselves in only dealing with 100% authentic items. Our expert team of authenticators will authenticate check that all branding, materials, stitching, serials are all in line with the specific brands. We also use reputable third party authenticators. If the item is proved to be a counterfeit, we will return the item back to you with an administration fee of

How do you determine prices? Are your prices negotiable?
The price of an item is determined based upon the market value of like items, which is based on its popularity, colour and condition.
We take great efforts to set our prices fairly based upon the current market value and therefore the stated prices are firm.
What is your payment process?
When you are consigning with us, we will send your funds less the commission, and authenticity fee within 24 -48 hours of the buyer’s funds clearing in our accounts.
We transfer funds to you via EFT or Paypal.

How do I know all your items are authentic?
Authenticity is the key fundamental part of The Designer Consigner’s ethics, and something we take extremely seriously, this is one of the main reasons we created The Designer Consigner. to offer customers a platform they can shop with the peace of mind that all items are authentic.
Items we receive are thoroughly assessed and inspected prior to advertising. Proof of purchase and receipts are also examined along with the item to ensure complete authenticity. We also authenticate each item that comes in using our in house team of experts and third party authentication services. Money back guarantee is also implemented to assure our customers are getting the best service possible.
Are all items new?
All our items are pre loved unless otherwise specified.
Can I return or exchange the item I bought?
We do not do exchange or refunds for change of mind. We make every effort to describe and photograph/film every feature of your item to ensure there is no disappointment.
How long until I receive my order?
Please allow 1-3 business days to have your order shipped out. If your item has exceeded this time please make immediate contact with us.
